How long will it take to get organized?

Because things and information change in meaning as time goes by, staying organized is a constant process needing regular attention.

The faster you can make decisions about what you love and need the faster you can get organized.

The length of time will depend on the number of things to be organized, the level of organization needed and how quickly you make decisions about your belongings and the clarity of life priorities.

What is virtual organizing with Finely Sorted?

The method differs but the result is the same: a new space organized to fit your style, your needs, your ability and your now.

Virtual organizing is great for accountability, privacy, geographically unrestricted, a greater feeling of control over the environment for the client and more affordable because there is no travel fee.

All you need is a phone for voice-only organizing or a high-speed Internet connection and ease of use of a video platform such as Zoom, Skype, Meet, FaceTime or FacebookVideo Chat for video organizing.

If you are not physically able to do the work you shoud find a local assistant to be your hands.

I will see you in your home or office work space in my computer monitor and you will see me in your monitor.

I will ask you questions that help you make the necessary decisions about what to do with each item.

At the end of our time together you will have categories marked: “Keep”, “Give Away to Family and Friends”, “Trash”, “Shred”, “Donate”, “Relocate” and “Recycle”.

Will the organizer ask me to throw away my belongings?

Finely Sorted Organizing will ask you what the things and information mean in your life and when and how you use them.

The firm prioritization of life goals, the candid allowance of given space and an awareness of balance will help you determine if you should keep an item.

If it’s got sentimental meaning the organizer will help you find a place for it to rekindle feelings but not interfere with system functioning.

I have been disorganized my whole life, is there any chance I can change?

Finely Sorted will transfer valuable skills and insight to the client while coaching on behavior changes necessary so that s/he can learn how to be organized.

Many times people try to get organized but are not truly ready. A person must be willing and ready to make the necessary changes and prioritizations to achieve the desired organization.

“Finely Sorted Organizing has been a godsend and is worth every penny;  kind, professional, utterly honest and trustworthy and incredibly patient organizing my parents’ home, which is a huge task as they have several households of inherited belongings  when they have trouble letting go of things. I was able to park my car in the garage again!”
